Art Formats:
Artwork should be submitted via
E-mail, or CD Rom.
Camera-Ready hard copies are acceptable if there are no screened
halftones or color. All digital files should be vector sent in eps
format. Tiff files are acceptable for one color art (800 DPI at same
size or larger). All fonts must be converted to outlines or
curves. Freehand files should be exported into Illustrator
format. A fax or laser print of all digital files must be
submitted with your purchase order. Microsoft Publisher files
not accepted.
Screening/Halftones:
All
apparel silkscreen jobs are printed at 45 lines per inch. This large
dot pattern is not recommended for type, thin lines or small areas.
No faxes, or "art from the web" will be accepted as camera ready
artwork!
We can turn almost any artwork you provide into finished artwork
overnight for a cost of $30.00, call for a quote.
Approvals:
We
can provide you web, pdf file or fax approvals for your artwork
whichever you prefer. The approval should be examined very
closely before it is signed off. Not only should the typesetting be
looked at for correct spelling but also for color separations, ink
colors to be printed and the overall layout requested. The proof
should always be considered the FINAL approval on any artwork. Delayed
response to a proof will result in delayed production. Once the proof
is approved Mad Hatter Promotions, Ltd. will
not be responsible for errors in artwork.
